Faceal Hydro CP is a solvent-free, organo-functional and ready-to-use product, specially developed to reduce the corrosion of existing concrete reinforcements (in accordance with standard EN 1504 – Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures). This treatment, for commercial use, has an exceptional water-repellent property since it makes it possible to prevent and effectively prevent any penetration of water and thus prevent the harmful effects of moisture, such as the formation of moss, lichens, and efflorescence. Faceal Hydro CP has curative properties: It helps stop and control existing reinforcement corrosion (maximum corrosion rate of 5 microns/cm²). It is the ideal treatment to protect all types of engineering structures such as bridges, columns, parking structures as well as architectural concrete, etc. It makes it possible to greatly limit, over the years, the repairs of construction materials. Faceal Hydro CP also provides preventive protection: The reinforcements, in contact with humidity and chlorides (de-icing salts), oxidize and generate an increase in volume causing the concrete to burst, thus weakening the mechanical resistance of the elements affected. Unlike the corrosion inhibitors on the market, Faceal Hydro CP penetrates very deep into concrete, up to 6 cm thick, helping prevent the penetration of moisture and chlorides. It is also very effective on microcracks up to 0.3 mm.

Make sure the surface is clean and dry before using the product.

Apply two coats of Faceal Hydro CP to the porous surface (wait a maximum of 5 minutes between coats).
